Terms of service
Last updated 16 August 2026
The agreement
By creating a Lodestead household you agree to these terms. If you are using Lodestead on behalf of your family, you confirm you are an adult and entitled to do so.
Your trial and subscription
New households get 14 days free, with everything included and no card required. After that, Lodestead costs £6 per month or £50 per year, covering one household and every device in it.
If you do not subscribe when the trial ends, your household becomes read-only: you keep seeing everything you added, but cannot add more until you subscribe. We do not delete your data when a trial or subscription ends.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing inside the app; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
If a payment fails we will not cut you off immediately — there is a grace period and a clear warning first.
Refunds
If Lodestead is not right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it. This sits alongside, and does not reduce, your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lodestead to break the law, to store content you have no right to store, to attempt to reach another household's data, or to attack the service. We may suspend a household that does.
Availability
We work to keep Lodestead running and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and there is no published SLA. Planned work will be kept brief and, where practical, announced.
Your content
Your family's content remains yours. You grant Lodestead only the permission needed to store and display it back to your household. We claim no other rights over it.
Ending the agreement
You may delete your household at any time from Settings. We may end the agreement with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breach, and will refund any unused paid period if we do.
Liability
Lodestead is a household organiser, not a safety-critical system. We are not liable for anything you miss because a device was off, offline or unnoticed. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
